Website Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the website at henoc.co.uk (the “Site”), operated by HENOC Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11414478 with registered office in England (“HENOC”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Nature of the Site
The Site provides general information about our commercial energy brokerage services, together with interactive tools (the “AI Tools”) which allow you to upload commercial energy bills and contracts for automated review. The Site and the AI Tools are directed at UK business users only. HENOC does not provide services to domestic or personal energy customers.
2. Not advice
Information, quotes, market data, buying-window indicators, bill readings and contract summaries produced by the Site or the AI Tools are provided for information only. They are options and observations, not advice. HENOC does not provide legal, financial, tax, investment or regulated advice. You should take your own independent advice before entering into or terminating any energy supply contract.
3. AI Tools — important limitations
- AI Tools rely on machine reading of documents you upload. Outputs may contain errors, omissions or misclassifications and should always be checked against the original document.
- Market indicators are derived from delayed or estimated data feeds and do not represent firm quotes from any supplier.
- You must have the right to upload any document you submit and must remove or redact third-party personal data that is not reasonably necessary for the review.
- Do not upload material that is confidential to a third party, sensitive personal data, payment card details, or documents subject to legal privilege you do not wish to waive.
4. Your account and submissions
By submitting information through the Site (including forms, uploads, or requests for audits or alerts) you confirm that (a) you are authorised to act for the business identified, (b) the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and (c) we may contact you at the business contact details you provide about your submission and our services.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the HENOC name and the HENOC cube mark, layout, code and the AI Tool outputs generated by our systems — is owned by HENOC or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print reasonable extracts for your internal business use only. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish or exploit the Site or its content without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of documents you upload. You grant HENOC a non-exclusive licence to process them for the purpose of providing the requested review and, in aggregated and anonymised form, to improve our services.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Site or AI Tools unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm any person;
- upload material that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, malicious, or that contains viruses or other harmful code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, any related systems or another user’s account;
- scrape, mirror, or use automated means to access the Site other than public search engine indexing; or
- use the Site or its outputs to build, train or benchmark a competing product or service.
7. Availability
We take reasonable steps to keep the Site and AI Tools available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site for operational, security or legal reasons.
8. Third-party links and data
The Site may include links to third-party websites and rely on third-party data feeds (including market data). We are not responsible for third-party content or the accuracy or timeliness of third-party data. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Subject to the following paragraph, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and AI Tools are provided “as is” and “as available” and we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HENOC shall not be liable to any user of the Site for any indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data arising out of use of the Site or the AI Tools. Our total aggregate liability to any Site user in connection with the Site (as distinct from any signed engagement) shall not exceed £100.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Where you are dealing as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
10. Priority of terms
Where we have entered into a signed engagement, Letter of Authority or Trading Terms with you, those documents govern the brokerage services and prevail over these website terms to the extent of any conflict, unless expressly stated otherwise.
11. Complaints and your right to use the Energy Ombudsman
